About the Project
The design of pavement takes into account the existing conditions particularly the soil CBR, the subsoil water table levels, the assumed traffic loading and equivalent single axle load (ESAL).
The design of the flexible pavement structure for this project has been carried out in accordance with the AASHTO “GUIDE FOR DESIGN OF PAVEMENT STRUCTURES– 1993”
The AASHTO procedures for flexible pavements recognize and take into account of the following factors:
