Bridgewiz Middle East Engineering & Consultancy LLC is leading a high‑impact flood‑mitigation assignment at Al Hayl Fort Village, delivering a fully engineered solution to protect critical road infrastructure from extreme wadi flows. Following the destructive March 2026 flash‑flood event—where the existing culverts conveyed only 11% of the 100‑year flow and the road was overtopped and partially failed—Bridgewiz‑MEA has developed a hydrology‑driven design that upgrades culvert capacity, reconstructs the crossing as a scour‑protected floodway, and reshapes the wadi to safely convey future storm events. The project blends advanced hydrological modelling with resilient civil engineering to ensure long‑term protection, reduced lifecycle risk, and a robust, future‑proof crossing for the Al Hayl community.
